NEW SPEED EDGE 2.0
After years of research and development and with a completely new production method of skis, we are re-introducing our Speed Edge concept with a new twist. With Speed Edge 2.0, the traditional cap construction, which has widely been our industry standard for almost 30 years, is history. Speed Edge 2.0 removes the ski’s traditional protruding sharp edge from the snow contact area of the ski and maximizes the usable gliding surface area of the ski. This assures maximum speed throughout the glide phase, even when the ski is being run on its edge, cutting those valuable seconds needed on top-level ski racing. Speed Edge 2.0 can be treated with liquid glide wax, which will result in a perfectly sliding glidewall for your all-new Supra X.
TECHNIQUE TIP: Your ski will always be the fastest when you let it glide on its running base as much as possible. Use our spirit, which we call “Zen and the art of gliding on one foot” to master your skating technique.

NEW OSC CURVE
Another Peltonen novelty is our new OSC Curve. This feature combines two features seamlessly working together to move you forward as fast as possible. OSC Curve is a specialty feature for our all-new Supra X skating skis. It is a combination of a new optimized side cut working together with a lowered camber. The lowered chamber makes a smooth and gradual approach to the ski’s pressure area while also lowering the ski’s center of gravity. This feature together with an optimized new side cut gives you a feeling of full control on snow. OSC Curve brings handling and skiability to a whole new level.
NOMEX HONEYCOMB
Nomex is an extremely lightweight Kevlar-reinforced honeycomb material, which allows the skier's kick power to transfer to the surface of the track as efficiently as possible, saving valuable grams in the weight of the ski.
WCR WEATHER PROFILES
WCR skis are available in different profiles for a full range of racing conditions. With various profiles, we can offer you the best ski for all special conditions. Profile differences are created with structural (lamination) variations and base material variations.
UNIVERSAL
Universal is a ski design for most skiing conditions. There are variations within the profile.
HARDTRACK
Hardtrack is a special ski for hard track conditions. Also hardtrack comes with variations within the profile.
